Description:

Application used to conduct assessments of mental/physical/financial health of Philadelphia elderly community in consumer’s home. Extensive use of Web Services to move data between a database server (Oracle 10g) database and disconnected local laptop database (Microsoft Access) for disconnected use in elderly consumer’s home.

Description:

 

When services are ordered for a consumer by PCA care managers, a detailed listing of services to be provided for the consumer is placed on PCA (Philadelphia Corporation for Aging) website in real-time.   Service orders are produced in Adobe PDF Format.   Service orders are retrieved by the service provider on an as-needed basis.

 Online Provider Billing
Size: Used by 50+ Services Providers throughtout the cityof Philadelphia on a daily basis

Description: After services have been delivered, Service Providers are responsible for entering actual units of service delivered through a web-based billing application.  The web page is preloaded with consumers for which service has been authorized.  The information entered by the provider is validated against original service orders generated by PCA and discrepancy reports are produced for the providers.  This system interfaces with PeopleSoft accounting system for provider payment.

 Senior Center Touch Screen
Size: Used by 50 Senior Centers on a daily basis.  Used by approximately 5000 senior citizens on a daily basis.
Technology used: ASP.NET, Oracle 10g, Web Services, Windows Mobile.
Description:

--Used by Senior Centers in the city of Philadelphia to record attendance and registration of senior center  activities through the use of touch screen technology.  Seniors begin by having an ID card scanned.  This identifies the individual for future analysis and trending.  All activities available for the day are displayed on a touch screen where seniors “touch” the activity they will be attending.

 

--Attendance and registration information is stored in a centralized database.


--A separate PDA application has been developed that allows recording of attendance at separate satellite locations where a network connection would not be feasible.   At the beginning of the day, the PDA is updated with the latest activities available at the senior center for a specific day.  Attendance is scanned during the day and uploaded to the centralized database at the end of the day.

Size: Used by 20 PCA employees on a daily basis.

Description:
  • Used by the PCA Senior Housing Assistance Repair Program (SHARP) to provide low-cost repairs to elderly of Philadelphia.
  • Used to track labor and material costs of repair performed.  Draws upon and inventory of over 50,000 parts grouped by repair type.
  • Contains many Crystal Reports for invoicing and trend reporting.
  • Interfaces with PeopleSoft Accounting package for invoice creation and payments received.

Description: This system processess/maintains/edits Leads information of various Donors. This is a Fund raising system that allows the Teleresponse to reach out to approx 1 million donors to raize funds/donations for various campaigns.
